How long did it take you to get 1000 posts?

I've been a member of MyLot now for a little less than a month. I have almost 100 posts, so I am estimating that it will take me at least 6-9 months to reach 1000 posts if I keep going at the same rate.
How long did it take you to reach 100 posts? HOw about 1000 posts? How many times per week do you post and about how many posts do you average in a typical week? I'm just curious...

i have started just 10 dya ago and quite near to 500 posts now i spend about 2-3 hours a day here.And after 19th march i will be free for whole day for about 3 months so before 15th april i think i will have done above 1000 posts

WOW! I guess I just don't log on as much as other people do.
I can only find a few discussions a day I have anything worth replying to. I don't want to leave a bad answer or one so short there is no point to leave one.
So do you always respond when it's something worthwhile, or do you just choose ANYTHING to respond to?

i only responds to discussion that i like and about what i have some information and i also don't believe in just posting with bad quality .To find more discussion i like i have added plenty of people as friend and interest in my profile so i can find some of them easily...

It is quite a while since I reached the 1000 posts mark, so I am not sure how long it took.
I do know that the figure was never really considered as a target for me, I was quite content to take part in Mylot and plod along. The number of responses and discussions that I participated in was far from constant, with some days having several hours spent here and other days consisting of a few quick visits, so the progression was quite varied from day to day.
The best approach is to content yourself with having some fun here and the 1000 mark will find you eventually.

I'm not necessarily "trying" to get to 1000 posts, was just curious as to how long it took some people and how frequently they use this site.
Thanks for your input though. I agree. I want to have fun with this site and make money as well.

I've been here for just over 13 months so I guess that comes out to around 3-4 months per 1000 posts. Except in reality my first 1000 probably came quicker because my activity here slacked off over the summer and again for the past two months.

Well I just started 3 days ago and my posts are up to almost the 40 mark if not over. I don't get to participate as much as I would like do to work, but I plan on participating more on my next 2 days off. I really like the community here, and the fact that there are so many different topics to talk about.
