Fernando Torres's tattoos

I noticed that Fernando Torres has three tattoos (maybe even more,but they are not visible).On his right arm he has the number 9 tattooed,which obviously means his shirt number in the Spanish national team,formerly in Atletico Madrid and currently in Liverpool.On his left arm he has "Fernando" tattooed in tengwar,which is a constructed script invented by J.R.R. Tolkien,the author of the Lord of the Rings series.And the third tattoo is on the inside of his right shin.It's the roman numerals VII VII MMI (7.7.2001.).I was wondering does anybody knows what that means?

I believe the date is the date of his first date with Olalla his fiance - not sure whether Torres has even cofirmed this though

Obviously it's a date of his memorable day of his life. It may be meeting of his lover first time or may be first date. I also like this tattoo design a lot.
