Loving your Mum.

I just wanted to say how much my mum means to me. She has been the insperation within my life and i love her dearly not just as my mother, but also as my best friend. As most daughters you go threw a stage in your life, mainly your teenage years where you think your right and your Mum is wrong. Well as i have got older and have two daughters of my own aged 6 and 7weeks, i have realised that my mum was right in alot of things, maybe not in everything, but in alot of things she said. I love her for her honesty and straight talk and how she will always be my brick when im low and i will always be hers. You only get one mum in your life and i know that as every year goes by i love my mum abit more. I know how hard it is to be a mum sometimes, but only did i realise how hard after i became a mum myself. Love you mum xx

Hello yummymummy and welcome to myLot. It is so nice to see some one appreciating their mum. We go through stages of mom and dads knowing every thing then we become teenager and we decide moms and dads don't know any thing. Then as we get older and become parents we realize that moms and dads suddenly become much smarter than we ever thought they could be. As I read your piece about your mum it brought tears to my eyes. I appreciate your loving your mum.

That's nice of you loving your mom. That should have been long before but I'm happy for you now. Young people tend not to listen to the advice of their moms, but they regret later. I hope that your post be a good example and an inspiration for the young generation to love their parents and respect them!
