I wouldn't let my child always have their way. I cannot afford it for one and for two they will be spoiled brats and expect everything to be handed to them on a silver platter. If they grow up always getting their way, they will be no use to society.

absolutely NOT~! what a way to assuredly mess up his future. Even things that I have no objection to I will not always let my child have because the child has to learn he can not have everything he wants, life does not work that way. Sometimes the striving towards something the waiting, the saving, the hope - can really help to build character - with patience, perseverance and resolve. it also helps them to learn how to prioritize, and to learn to do without, perhaps helping them to learn innovation - how to make do with something else for that purpose.

No. It is not good to allow or to give in to all the demands of the children because they will not learn to value things. It's the role of the parents to guide and support the child as he grows so that he'll become a good citizen of the society.
