Usually, my kids can get up and ready and walk quickly and everything like that BUT as soon as I say hurry up or we're going to be late, they suddenly manage to be really really slow, mess about getting dressed and then walk slowly. I find if we've got loads of time to get where we're going that we tend to be at least half an hour early because they are really good but it seems the less time we've got, the longer they take to do everything.

I'm so glad this is happening to you as you were the worst culprit in my family. As soon as I said hurry up you'll be late, you would go into slow or stop mode. All children do it.

I get like that myself, the longer I've got the more I tend to rush, well, I don't ever rush really but I do tend to do things quicker if I've got more time to do it in. My son was always like that when I took him to school too, it's not just you, don't worry, they will probably grow out of it, well, one of them will grow out of it, the other one unfortuately for you is too much like his Auntie! ;)
