My friends' son's 5th birthday

Cars Birthday cake - My friend's child just turned five and I decided to make him a cake with the Cars movie on it.. he loves this movie and anything that has to do with McQueen.

I had a friend over yesterday and her son's birthday was last week. She didn't have a birthday party for him so I thought I would have one for him. There was just her, her child, my son, my hubby and I but it ended up being fun! He loves the movie Cars and his favorite character is McQueen so I wanted to make him something special and ended up using Cars as my theme. This cake was really fun to make and very easy! Everyone loved it and I would definitly make this one again!

That was very nice of you to make a cake for your friend's son for his birthday. Very cool of you to make a Lightening McQueen cake for him too.

Hi lilybug, I thought it would be a nice thing to do since she didn't have a birthday party for the little guy this year, and he adores lighting mcqueen! I love making cakes anyway and it gave me the opportunity to do it. Thanks for your thoughts
