It Was All Very Very Saucy!

No not as in the saucy sense that some of you may think, I was having a really busy afternoon, I had to do homework with my kids and make sandwiches for school tomorrow and make tea. Having sorted them out and fed them I was hungry myself and so stuck a few left over chips on some bread for a sandwich. Only one thing missing tomato sauce, I was rushing about and so picked the bottle up without checking it like I normally do, and shook it. You know what happened next dont you? yep red tomato sauce everywhere, in my hair, on the ceiling, on the cupboards. We normally have the squeezy plastic bottles and it doesnt happen too bad with them, but I had bought a glass one instead. So have you ever done this? Or have you done something even better and made more mess? I would love to hear any stories you have!

yep heres one for you. one evening rushing to make dinner i poured suger into the pot for salt by mistake. one of my genius decided to switch the covers of the containers that we keep the salt and sugar stored in.here i come to busy as usual did'nt even taste the pot,put the food on the table proud of the short time it took me to feed them. imagine my surprise when everybody spit out their food and accused me of trying to poison them... needless to say i now check and taste everything before using it. because with my kids {bless them } you just dont know.

The biggest mess (and most dangerous probably) was when me and a couple of friends went down to the river near mine, had a campfire with sausages etc and some strawberries and squirty cream (the ind in the aresol can) anyway we had finished and packed up when there was a huge band and the can of squirty cream exploded, we had left it too close to the fire and it had put a hole in the can. the can absolutly shot off a good 5-7 metres and needless to say there was a lot of cream over the rocks by the river... Have learnt a lesson from that as well.

So in your case it was all very creamy ah? I bet that was a bit of a scare for you all though, but at least you were all ok!

I just found a big mess in my cabinet that I had to clean. One of the kids had laid the bottle of corn syrup down in the cabinet and it leaked out. It was all over the boxes of cereal, poptarts, etc. Everything was sticky and nasty! I hate messes like this!!!

Oh no, that sounds worse than having to clean up tomato sauce! Did it take ages to clean it all? It is usually the kids that make the messes, but it makes it worse that it was me!jLuckily it was not too bad to clean up with it being fresh and wet and not dry and stiff.
