First of all let me apologise to anyone who is easily offended or grossed out, I'm not trying to be gross, I just genuinely wonder if other people have this problem. That said here it is: When you hae your period, and you go to the bathroom to have a poop, do you find that you push your tampon out while pushing out the poop? Hehehe, soo I warned you that it's kinda gross, but seriously, does this happen to anyone else? I friggen hate it!!!

Back when I wore tampons, I remember feeling like it was going to, but never had it happen. I would usually end up taking i out before hand. However, now I'm sure it would happen to me, since having kids I can't wear them, they don't stay in place well and just feel uncomfortable.

Nykee, it happens to me a lot too. I thought it probably happened to everyone until I read the other responses. At least now you know you aren't the only one. Funny, I never thought about this at all really, just thought it was normal and to be expected.

That being said, no, I haven't had that problem (yet!) It does sound like a pain though. Sorry.

I'm glad you posted this discussion, because I have the same thing happen to me. It drives me crazy. Especially if I change it, and then just a little while later, I have to "do #2..." LOL I feel like I wasted a tampon, but what can you do?

Well first of all I don't wear tampons, I just use the pads. Secondly, I am so sorry but when I...push...I feel as if the blood is just rushing to come out, like a heavier sort of period. I have to constantly be wiping the front there...omg lol. Can't believe I actually shared that.

Thans for responding. Don't feel bad, I can't wear pads becuase one time I was haveing a really heavy period and I got up in the morning and went to the bathroom and I had bled so much that there was a bunch of blood sitting on top of the pad and when I saw it I puked, but I was sitting on the toilet so I had to curl up and puke between my legs into the toilet. It sucked.

Totally gross but I have had the same thing happen. Back when I used them I found that I would have to pull my plug first then go. That way there is no worries about backed up potties with embarrassing explanations.

YES..OMG!! That's why I pull the tampon out before going and then after I'm done i'll put a new one in. I have good muscles there so it happens everytime....that's probably why I only push 4 times when I had my baby :)

This happens to me all the time. Tampex doesnt fit my body right but if i wear playtex I dont have this problem. Tampex sucks! I bought a monster box to save some money, wont do that again. Use whatever works best for you but maybe if you tried a different band you wont have that problem. I thought I saved money (buying the jumbo box) but you end up having to change it all the time if you poop or pee so you use more of them. Playtex brand works much better for me anyways. I HATE PADS--Wont go there!!!!!!!!!!
