HOW to be productive?

For me, productivity beings and ends with the daily to-do list. I plan my day in the morning and then check off allt he tsks until they are done...sometimes urgent tasks pop up, but then we figure out what can be shifted and keep working. That is the only way to work, just head down checking off the to-do list.
