How bad can the Washington Redskins get this season (2009-2010)? I mean they started off decent, but have spent the last month or so in steady decline. I kind of feel sorry for the fans. Anyways, I know the Cowboys will rein supreme this year!

Oh, I certainly believe that you are never too old to learn something. I guess if this was not true, I'd be in a heap of trouble. My philosophy is that the day you stop learning it is probably too late. I always have a few things going on that I want to learn. It is especially true today, since the world is changing so fast.

I love to cook. I guess that I'm pretty good, everyone eats it. I used to work for a chef and he taught me a lot. Most of the stuff that I do, I taught myself building on what the chef taught me. I also learn a lot from shows like Top Chef and Iron Chef America.

I agree with your strategy. I may only start one discussion a day (most of the time less), but I try to respond or participate at least ten times a day. I think that responding to discussions is important. I also feel that each respondent to my posts deserves an answer or at least an acknowledgement.

I agree. I hope that NY23rd does not discourage other third party candidates. The only way to begin a viable third party going is to really start winning local elections. It will take a mighty big shovel to uncover all the crap in Washington!

No doubt; communication is a two-way process. Sometimes I think people post things just to prove how superior they are. I generally like a good discussion, even if the subject matter is not my favorite topic.

I agree that this is not the final bill. I doubt that anything like the House version will be passed by the Senate. I think that your final statement is a bit naive. Our system is set up to avoid the tyranny of the majority. The minority has a lot to say about this and even a passed and signed bill is not the last act in this play.

We can only hope that the Afghan government can escape corruption and crony-ism, unfortunately the U.S. government is full of its own corruption and crony-ism. Absolute power does corrupt absolutely!
