as we know, our computer is full of garbage based on our activities on it day and night. that garbage includes temporary internet files, useless register items, inefficient files, wrong items, and so one. if we don't delete it,the operating speed of our computer is slower and slower. i use a optimization design software called 'super rabbit'to clean those system garbage. what about you? do you use similar software? what's it name? or you have another way which is better and more efficient. thanks for your sharing.

My antivirus i.e Mcafee has a quick clean option and i use that for cleaning junk files. If you don't have it look for a software EasyCleaner it will help you.

I go to the Computer-properties-delete temporary files daily and delete the junk. I have the CCleaner and registry mechanic too to keep my computer free of those junk.

I use an application known as CCleaner, sophialin, and have used it for almost 2 years. It does a very good job of cleaning out all of the garbage, has an excellent uninstaller(I download a lot of games), and even helps to keep your registry running smoothly. It is freeware but I would pay for it if necessary.

some cleaning softwares are hard to remove completely. i'm glad to hear that CCleaner has an excellent uninstaller. maybe i can use the freeware for a try.

there are some sofeware to clean your computer but i think it's only a few useful. The speed of computer is decided by the CPU,memory and so on,sometimes is relative to virus. commonly,if u feel that u computer is slow ,u can restart it except it is infected.

Now i seldom use softwares like 'super rabbit' or ‘windows Optimizing Expert' and so on. I am lazy to do so and sometimes ago it often delete some useful files. Maybe now it use well. Now i use ghost only. I installed all the softwares that i needed in my working computer,of course they are in drive D, then updated the OS and softwares, after that cleaned the garbage of the system and made a defrag. When the system turns slowly, I often recover it with ghost.

I was so detemined when i got this pc that i wasnt going to let it fill up with a load of rubbish.....well im sad to say the rubbish has been piling up slowly....now im not too good on the theory of how a computer works....but i have gained enough insight into using the tools option and clearing cookies and temporay files etc.... But then I seem to start finding never ending things that i have written...that need deleting...so i just go on and on.... But i was quite good and spent quite a while the other day just clearing things off...and im hoping that ive got rid of most of the rubbish.

Like worldwise1 mentioned, CCleaner is good especially when you consider the price: FREE! I am notoriously cost/benefit and I will employ freeware / OpenSource anytime I can before buying ANYTHING. In that light, here are some other really good programs: * IOBit's Advanced Windowscare Personal - Free * Tuneup Utils' 2008 software - shareware but with a 30 free trial

At present, i use the soft 'perfect clear', and it isn't been install,it is free soft.i clear operating system with it by week,in order to let my computer to so fast.sometimes, you install some soft, it will auto install some free soft, when you login your operating system next time, it will auto rasie on,there will make your computer so slow, it is too boring. i will clear it with clear tools or kill it in regedit. so i have three suggestions:1.clear your computer with clear tools by week.2.write some scripts to clear it or find some scripts .3.when you don't use your computer, close it, in order to release the barbage from your computer.
