Who are your favourite female singers at the moment?

My favourites have to be Amy Winehouse and Amy MacDonald at the moment. They both are very good and have very different and brilliant voices compared to the average singers out at the moment.

My favourite singers at the moment include Avril Lavigne (which I believe most people don't like her), Kelly Clarkson and Alicia Key... Somehow I prefer their songs than others....

Alicia Keys has a great voice. I love her song Fallin' or something like that. Also, I do really like some Avril songs but I wouldn't say she has a brilliant voice. Her style is really good though. Kelly Clarkson has a great voice but its hard to notice with the music she does. I suppose thats what happens with Avril.

Celine Dion has a wonderful voice. Also, my friend is a huge Spice Girls fan and I have to admit that Melanie C has a great voice and has been very under-rated.

Hi there... These would be my all time favourite female singers, Aretha Franklin, Randy Crawford, Ruby Turner, Renee Geyer, Gloria Gaynor, Pheobe Snow, Rick Lee Jones, Shola Ama, Tori Amos, India Arie, Gabriel and many many more...

Yes Amy Winehouse may have a good voice but she sends out all the wrong signals to young impressionable children. Females with good voices that are about today are Fergie from black eyed peas..... rhiana..... leaona lewis.... cristina aguleira

This subject is based fully on the music, so Amy's lifestyle is not something to put me off such an amazing voice. Her songs are also full of emotion and brilliant. Christina is brilliant too, but I find that sometimes her voice is used too over-the-top. I absolutely love Beautiful by her though.
