Does misdiagnosis cause death?

In New Brunswick Canada the news report that over 400 hundred cases of cancer misdiagnoses was found. Of the 400 cases 108 people have now died; they did not get the treatment they needed on time, yet at the same time they are saying they cannot determine if they died because of the misdiagnoses. I smell something fishy here, do you? okay yes they could have been too far gone even if they had the right diagnoses, but 108 different people out of a small pool of 400, sounds like that is a bit too much for me. What do you think?

That sounds very weird to me also. I wander why they have such a high rate of misdiagnosis? The people evidently had something wrong with them, correct. Maybe they need to find a new doctor and get rid of the ones that are not diagnosing correctly.
