The Simpson Ride At Universal

Now that they are shut down the classic Back to the Future Ride and replaced it with the simpsons. I wonder how it will be? Is it even open? or has anyone been on it yet?

Tried the Simpsons ride last June. It was OK. I wouldn't call it great, but my 9 year old son loved it. He loved it so much, that he started watching the Simpsons TV show.
On a side note, I also have a 3 year old son. He's favorite ride at Universal Studios was the escalator up and down the lots. LOL!
