I'd suggest adding links to your blogs in free web directories, joining forums where you can add a link to it in your signature, or that show the latest post in your blog in your profile, submitting it to various RSS feed directories, adding it to Feedburner, pinging as many sites as possible whenever you add a new post. Basically, get your blog link out to as many places as you can.

Backlinking is the key.

you can try those methodes: 1.Write a good unique content 2.submit it to search engine(i thin blogspot has a premade sitemap for bloggers) 3.submite your feed to feedburner and website like it.. 3.Use blog pingers.. 4.Link exchange with other website and blogs 6.Submit your blog to directories 7.Use social networks and social bookmarks(like digg,technocrati,stumbleupon,...)to promote your blog.. i think this should help you.. hipe you good luck

I stumbled upon this SEO thing in uTube, i just wasn't able to get the exact address. I remember he suggested 4 ways and one of them is in Netscape's Propeller site, you create an account, create a news item about your blog and you'll be listed with in 48hrs. Another is in craiglist.com. I'm not into Blogging yet better search in uTube for video tutorials. If you're still interested :)

For optimize your blog , you should write good content . optimize your meta tag such as keyword , title , description etc . link exchange with related site . submit website to directories .
