Oodles of shoes...what's on your feet?

I have 10 pairs of shoes, but on any given day you'll see me in my very comfortable slippers or my old tennis shoes (Rockport Walkers which I bought on sale in 1999). What do you put on your feet? Do you coordinate your shoes with your outfit? Do you like to wear a variety of shoes? Do you just want your feet to be comfortable? That's my answer

Hi Joyce, like you I have many pairs but usually stick to wearing my work shoes if at work and a really comfortable pair of leather ankle boots that have a bit of a heel but are still really comfy to walk in. I have two favourite pairs of going out shoes with high heels one pair is black and silver and I have the bag and all other accessories to match and the other pair are a dusky pink which look gorgeous with a lovely skirt I have in the wardrobe. In the summer I just tend to wear a flat slip on to wear to the beach, flipflops I find hurt my toes. I'm definately built for comfort me rather than fashion. Ellie :D

Your shoes sound very fashioinable, and with matching accessories -- quite spiffy! Thanks for sharing.

i have really bad knees so anything flashy or high i cannot wear. i usually aim for comfort...during our cold canadian winter, i generally wear slippers around the house and boots outside, but now that spring is here, i can change shoes more often... i work part time in an office and i generally wear shoes that match what i am wearing that particular day...but i only buy shoes on sale (or at a thrift store) or get them given to me!

How time slips away. When I worked, my shoe style was more of a fashion statement. Since I don't work now, that fashion sense has gone bye-bye. Thanks for sharing.

I walk everywhere I go so I like to be comfy, I have lots of pairs of shoes, but I only stick with about 3 pairs that I can wear that do not hurt after so long! I have a pair of trainers, boots and a pair of shoes and they are all worn in to the point that I do not feel like I am wearing any! At home though I have a pair of fluffy pink slippers that are bliss to wear, I have them on right now!!

I'm wearing my fluffy blue slippers. On occasion I even wear them to the store. Thank you for participating in this discussion.

I have too many shoes to count. I have a bin full of shoes in one closet, a duffle bag full of shoes in another closet and then about 10 pair scattered thru the house. But when I'm at home, I go barefoot or wear slippers, depends if my tootsies are cold. During the week I sport heels for work, and barefoot at home in the evening. And the weekends it's usually sneakers where ever I go. I like to coordinate, but comfort is my main priority. I'd love to get a pair of mukluks, but can't find ones I like, so I might end up knitting a pair for myself!

Sounds like you're shoed up for life! I have a feeling you'll probably buy more just because you like shoes. Enjoy! Thanks for responding.

I have over 100 pairs of shoes. Ranging from heels to sandles, to slippers to runners, to snow shoes to cowboy boots. I always found that coordinate my shoes to my outfits. I have always been like this. I seem to find some great deals for shoes as well that's why I have so many. I do love my heels but have to watch when I wear them. Needless to say the high heels over a 2 inch heel or wedge are pretty much out of the question due to my back injury. I was really upset when I couldn't wear them any longer. Those are pretty much thrown at the back of my shoe closet and the shoes that I wear most often are all up at the front now. I think I have a shoew addiction. Not that it's a bad thing at all but what can I say I love shoes.

So you like variety in your shoe wear. We're different in that way. It's nice to hear from a variety of people who have different styles. Thank you for sharing.

I have many pairs of shoes. My favorites are my 4 different pairs of Sketchers and Champion sneakers. They aren't like the sporty kind of sneaker that you wear for tennis or other sports or exercise. They are slightly casually dressier than that. So comfortable and I wear them anytime I will be doing a lot of walking. And, then I have another cute pair of closed toed sling backs that are adorable and comfortable. I got crazy during the fall and winter over boots. I do try to match my shoes to my outfits. I have different colors. Comfort is important to me so, I really try to find more comfy shoes.

If I had mydruthers I would wear rockford but since I do not I am wearing made to my feet but ugly and heavy orthopedic shoes witha brace built in for my bad left foot. they are comfortable but look so bulky and no style at all. I just do not see why they cannot style these shoes at the same time that they measure our feet. whymake them ugly? Usually at home I do wear my red moc slippers as they feel good and look nice too.

I don't know why they can't put style in them either. You don't have much choice, but I imagine your red moc slippers are good to come home to. Thanks for your response.
