Tomorow again something from vegetable or bred with some cheese, we can't eat meat till the evening of the Saturday, then we will have hum and all kinds of good things. How about you?

We do not do anything different for Lent, but I must say your food sounds delicious! I love spinach with eggs and potatoes and would eat that any day of the week.

thank you for sharing some of your tradition with us. one of my best friends is hungarian / romanian and I love hearing her traditions too. We fast through all of lent until midnight on Holy Saturday. I should have made a spinach and egg pie today! ham is traditional meat for us, because in Christ all things were made clean... I have also made leg of lamb but did not like it it was too greasy, that could be the way I cooked it though.

Oh hungarian? I am sure they have similar traditions like we have. I was thinking to make some lamb for Holy SAturday.
