I think this is a great endorsement for him. I believe it will cause more Hispanic people to vote for Mr. Obama. Clinton says it isn't a significant endorsement for him, but I think it is, since Richardson is the only Hispanic governor. I believe Senator Obama will make a great president, and will keep his promises. What do you think?

I dont think the endorsement will help him with the hispanic vote at all. I am hispanic and it didnt do anything for me. The hispanic community isnt a group that decides who to vote for because another hispanic candidate thinks it is a good idea. Clinton is very popular with hispanic voters and I dont expect to see a shift of support because this man said it is a good idea.

I do believe that he is our best chance out of our three options; and I also think he will, at the very least, try to keep his promises. Remember he will have to get the house and senate to work with him in order to be able to keep them. I also realize that while none of his solutions offer "quick fixes" for our nation's problems, that is probably for the best because "quick fixes" rarely ever work for long - if at all. This will probably be an important endorsement for Obama, and very well could increase his popularity with the hispanic voters.

I agree it's a big deal. I'm not sure if it will do much in bringing in Hispanic voters, I'm not sure how much impact an endorsement has on voters on the surface but I do think with the amazing foreign policy experience and expertise Richardson has his endorsement will possibly carry more weight than usual and I have no doubt he'll have a place in an Obama Administration - possibly as VP or maybe Secretary of State and that's certainly a plus. People talk about Obama's lack of experience but if you think about it most of our Presidents have lacked experience in many aspects of the job before taking office and the key is who they appoint for cabinet posts and who they surround themselves with to give them advice.
