Sometimes we are shy but we need to communicate no matter what. So, how do you spark a conversation?

If I just meet the person, start with personal info and things will just follow as long as he/she is interested to talk with..There are type of persons who are too passive and seems not interested..so, its hard to carry a conversation with them. I experienced this when my husband introduce me to his buddy and the wife..after several effort of bringing out topics..she seems not interested or will just answer"yes"or "no".I just ignore her and she just ignore me too..lol..I hope this will not happen again..My first experience so far!!

I am not good at this, so I avoid social contact when I can, and I usually rely on others talking to me, I am very wary of strangers and won't talk to people, I have a personality disorder and I have also been in an abusive relationship so I find talking to people uncomfortable and I fear rejection, I have a phobia about it. I will say the least possible. It's always professional that I talk to people and I never get intimate, I can be assertive but I will always keep it brief.

Hello! How are you? It depends on the mode of communication, if it is a face to face conversation, then I will start by conveying my Hello to the other fellow and introducing myself. Then I come to the main points, which I wish to discuss with that fellow. If it is on phone, then also before starting a conversation with any stranger, I introduce myself, before asking about his introduction. When with known people, I could be informal with them and I start my conversation without any kind fo formality.

What I do to create a discussion that is honest and note worthy, is to post one about my personal interest. I write about the things I enjoy, so that i can care about the topic, and not only post to grab cents.

For me... it depends upon who the person is... or the personality of the person... i she is a mother... then i start the converstation asking how her kids are... if he is a businessman... i ask a question about the country's economy and how it is affecting the business... But when i don't know anything about the person... i start a conversation about the weather... and from there... i just add and ask and add and ask...
