MyLotters do you agree with that old saw you cannot teach an old dog new tricks as applied to we human beings? I do not believe that for one instance as I went back to college at age fifty and got my BA Also I learned how to use a compute when I was fifty six and while I am no computer programmer I have learned the basic skills.

I have never actually counted them but since I am retired I am on line all day so thats how I can rack up a lot of stuff. If I were working I could never do that. right now I have several discussions that have not drawn one response.sob

I think there is still a big possibility that "old dogs" dont learn new tricks... however as for people's case, when we want to do something and have the will to do, then no matter what your age is, you can always learn new things. We can never stop learning, though some becomes hard headed as they age, like my mom for instance... there are still people who are still open to learn.

That is the biggest part of it the will to do something and to learn new things and not to let your age interfere. we should keepon learning new things if only to avoid dementia and alzenheimers.

It all has to do with what someone wants in life...and if you want it bad enough you will learn what you can to get it..It is the willingness to want to learn the new trick..If there is no desire than it won't happen..Congrats on all you have acheived...
