The media implies that younger bodies are attractive and more beautiful than older ones. However, in “The Aphrodite Phase” the author of the book describes an increased comfort, freedom and acceptance as she grows older. Where does beauty and attractiveness come from? Does it come from physical attributes or mental attitude? Were you happier in your skin when you were younger? Or have you grown more comfortable as you’ve aged?

that's a really great question. I think i am more comfortable with who i am as a whole now then i did when i was younger. i think for me, with life lesson, and my own personal journey i have grown to not only be more comfortable in my own skin but have come to a place where i like and love who I am.

Me too momma. Even though I'm not a size 7 anymore, (I'm much larger), I think I'm more beautiful now than I ever was. It might not show on the outside, but it shines from the inside. I'm more comfortable with things like they are. I would hate to think I had to go through it all again.

Honey, i am so happy with who i am right now. yes i am a size 12, who would love to be a 8. Yet I have never loved or liked me more. I just feel like I am who I was always meant to be right now. and i am moving on to being who i am suppose to be. even in a Bam Bam Hot size 12
