Isn't being happy the lifelong search of almost everyone if not everyone on this planet. To me happiness isn't about being ultimately rich, or gorgeous, cause what does all that mean if your not really happy? To me happy isn't a materialistic thing, its more like a feeling or a mindset. I can find myself driving around in my crappy little car, it might not be a hot rod, or a sports car, but even driving around in beautiful weather with myself, the road and my tunes and I can find happiness in that. I think we all should look beyond the material side of happiness and dig deep down within ourselves to find our happiness.

Hear, hear! I hear what you are saying and whole-heartedly agree: happiness is a frame of mind and not a material thing and can be found in the most unusual places. It isn't tied to the physical but will allow you to enjoy the physical much more. The greatest thing about happiness is that you control your own level of happiness. Yes, happiness is one of the few things that only you can allow to be taken away from you. Without happiness, it is almost impossible to share it with others. Simple things give the most pleasure thereby sparking happiness; so go out and experience the little pleasures in life and feed your happiness level. Excellent topic!
