MyLot no no word! Whoops!

I just ran into one of those words you can't type in MyLot. MyLot has a list of words it programs its computers to recognize as 'inappropriate' such as the F bomb and so on...

Well, I wasn't dropping little dirt bombs. I was talking politics. It would seem our country has a Vice President with a first name that is banned by MyLot.

D. Cheney has a first name that can be interchanged for a gentleman's ahem. When I wrote out his full name, MyLot had a fit and nearly dumped my discussion!

lol. Yeah same thing happened to me in a discussion about favorite old sitcoms. So I typed "The Dic* Van Dyk* Show" and it wouldn't let me post it because of the two words in the title. So I had to add the asterisks. Ridiculous.

It just proves true the old joke why you don't give a computer legs. The darned things will just fall down the steps! Well, at least MyLot's F bomb sniffers. Although not all computers are so terrible, as those rovers on Mars are still scooting about long after their due date.
