I guess I am going to return to eBay.....

I need to sell some stuff. I need to make some extra money. There just isn't any other place online where you can make the money you need to except ebay. So many people turn there to purchase things. I hate to go back, but I don't see any other way to sell these items. I have a ton of used clothing. The consignment store that I usually take them (the adult clothing) to is not accepting items due to low sales. The owner is actually a real witch and that may be part of the issue for them. I plan on selling that stuff off in lots. I have a ton of used little girl stuff too. Plus some new with tags. I know that I will be able to sell it on ebay. I am going to do them in lots as well. I want to keep the seller fees down.

I saw that listings are 1 cent right now...not sure what the fine print was. I do know it's only until the 31st. Good luck with your auctions!

The fine print is that you have to start your auction at 99 cents or less to get the 1 cent listing fees.

Good luck with the eBaying! My sales have gone down a bit since the last change in fees. I think there are just less people on eBay now.

Yes, I believe that too. But there still isn't another online marketplace that can claim the people who have gone away. Know what I mean? I do etsy and ecrater too.

Oh yea you will do fine!! It is competitive but there are ALWAYS people out there who buy things from ebay, even gross things lol. I should look into it myself. I know there are ways to pick up some leads for business opportunities there but have to find out how...

I always send thank you notes with my card in them to my customers from ebay. And now I have the mom packs to send to them. Free stuff for them.

Why aren't you selling those wonderful vacation club memberships you were so excited about two months ago?

I'm going to sell the used clothing that is laying around my house on ebay. Btw, it isn't a vacation club anyway. I will be selling vacations very soon. I just want to do one thing at a time. And I have fundraisers going on thru my "vacation club"

Well i wish you good look on the selling on Ebay. I heard that is pretty competitive. But I know you will win, and be able to sell what ever you want. Hopefully you will be able to make a good amount of income, and that your time is not being wasted by some of those idiots that are on there. But that sounds like a good idea. All I say is go for it. If people can sell things like a chewed up piece of bubble gum, I know that you will definitely be able to sell your personal things.

Ha ha. That's gross. I know the stuff will sell. Especially my daughter's gymboree stuff. It's barely worn since she decided to hit a growth spurt right after christmas and she got new jeans. It really sucks. I hate too short pants.

Yes, I know. I still haven't started any auctions yet. Guess I am still fighting it. I have everything set up ready to go. I took a bunch of stuff to consignment today.

Having been both a buyer and a seller on eBay I have to say you can find some very good bargains on there these days.

I wish you good luck on ebay. I know that the sales are slow there sometimes, but I think that clothes sell okay there. I personally just opened a store on ebay and I will see how it does. I like ebay although I feel at times that I don't get what I should have out of items, but it is a buyers market and I accept that. I would rather make a few dollars off of things than to not sell it at all and have it in the way.

You should try opening a store at ecrater and then directing your ebay traffic there. Like list things as auction on ebay and say contact me for buy it now. Then send them to your ecrater store. Ecrater is free. At least you would save a few bucks. That is my plan.

Haven't you read all the changes they are making? And I have had my own personal bad experiences with ebay. And when I say ebay, I don't mean the buyers or sellers, I mean the people who work for ebay. They are rude and they don't care about the people that make their jobs possible. I absolutely hate them. And now paypal is going to hold the buyers money for 21 days after they pay instead of giving it to the seller right off. It just angers me so.

well i guess the issue of their staff not been responsible can be raised with the admin someone out there must be responsible to hear this kind of complaint, make your grudges known and dont let it freak you out,and besides the changes in the operations are meant to make things easier for both buyers and sellers alike, dont you think so?and the issue of paypal to hold on to money for sometime is merely to protect buyers against fraudulent sellers in case there is a complaint about the products,i think its not a bad i dea though sellers will not like this but it makes them to make sure that they make their products up to standard

yes i understand you but i will advise youn try to get to know the buyer before you send anything to them or you can try to ensure that the person pays some amount before shipping it covers your expenses
