Do you own a chocolate fountain?

I have seen a lot of these chocolate fountains for sale recently and was thinking of getting one for myself but was wondering if anyone has one and if you use it much? I have bought several items that I use a few times and then store in the cabinet. I don't need anything else like that. If you have one, how often do you use it? What do you use it for?

Yes! I have one that I bought about a year ago. I have used it for banquets at church and school, loaned it to the kids for prom and homecoming dances, and even set it up for my daugher's 18th birthday party! Everyone loves it and have even started to ask when there is something planned...are you bringing the chocolate fountain?

That is a great idea. Using it at birthday parties and family gatherings would give me some great times to use it. Thanks!

I can't imagine I'd use it very often. They have them on sale pretty cheap but I think unless you entertain a lot or eat A LOT of chocolate, it would probably join the other items in your cabinet.

I do like chocolate so I can see that I might use it. I am just not sure of what I would do.

I have one and I don't use it too often. Probably more on special occasions when having some friends over. Not all the time but sometimes. If you don't need it and it is just going to collect dust I would suggest opting against it. You could just melt chocolate in a pot and do it that way.

That is probably what I will do as I don't need any unused appliances sitting around to collect dust.

An avid chocolate fan...but ive never had a `go` at a chocolate fountain!! as much as the idea appeals to me. The only thing i have to say is that a friend went to a wedding recently...and had a dip into a fountain with a srawberry...but wasnt very impressed...he said it didnt really taste tooo cholatey!! Its similar to when the soda (soft drinks) makers came out...we wanted one..but after a few weeks it just got shoved into the back of the cupboard..what a shame though

I never heard of a soda maker. I would not be interested in it as I don't care for sodas.
