to borrow billions from many other countries to keep the country running. Why is USA broke and why is our government having to borrow. Sounds like one big ponzi scheme to me and others have gone to jail, doing the very same thing.

I think you are right. Actually, I think part of it is the federal reserve. If they would go back to printing their own money and get rid of that, they would save a lot of money. I don't know all the details, but I am told that is run not by the federal government but by bankers somewhere else in the world. Has anyone else heard that or does the person/people who told me this not know what they are talking about?

all the countries borrow from each other, it is just high finance, the whole western hemisphere owes zillions of dollars to the usa, it is a very complicated deal

Our government wouldn't be broke if other countries would pay us back. This country spends way too much time throwing money at 3rd world nations that will never get any better. Those same countries curse us for not giving enough money. I remember when Bush attended an AIDS conference in Spain and was booed by everyone there with people claiming the US doesn't care about the AIDS problem. All that despite the fact that the US spends FAR more money than any other nation on AIDS research and gives ridiculous amounts of money to African nations to deal with AIDS. Our country is not broke, we just need to collect what we are owed. The economy will rebound as it always does.

Speaking of the conference and other sites such as infowars dot com it's speculated USA for population control planted the deadly virus. What's so bad, you know how rumours get started and of course the general public says your nuts, yada yada yada yada, then years later the truth comes out. So who do you believe. I perfer to keep a close ear from the insiders and keep watch froma distance.

If the conspiracy was true, it had nothing to do with homesexuals. You would really have to do deeper research on the theory itself to see possiblities there could of been a conspiracy. One day I was listening to a radio show of a preacher speaking on the topic itself, he said he had a friend that workded in atlanat withe CDC and what he told him that the gov't planted the virus, but if he was conforted he would deny of ever telling the story. It's like UFO's, are their UFO's ? Ever listen to Art Bell, coast to coast radio and their guest that has worked for the Gov't and now comeing out being whistle blowers. So who really knows, it's just a conspiracy theory. But, you have to alway think it could be a possiblity. Politicians lie all the time, why should I believe everything I hear, do you ?

I think it's ridiculous that people actually believe the US government is so brilliant that they could create a virus like AIDS. Population control wouldn't make much sense since the conspiracy theorists typically think it was devised to kill off homosexuals. Heck, it used to be called gay man's disease. It certainly hasn't done anything to control the population growth in the US.

The U.S. Government always borrowed since the inception (i.e. issuing war bonds during Independence War). Alexander Hamilton did see some advantages of debt financing. Of course, the debate is how much debt is too much. For decades, USA could get by with huge budget and trade deficits because foreign countries had faith on the U.S. Dollars. In the past, countries with huge trade surplus to the USA kept their trade surplus with the U.S. Dollars. The appearance of the Euro made U.S. Dollars no longer the world's sole reserve currency. Now countries have more choices such as the Euro. The Bush foreign and war policies don't make other countries welcome the U.S. Dollars either. Unless the faith on the U.S. Dollars are restored, American will see more dollars devaluation and more burden of budget deficit.
