Do not request for check for GPT pay out for international members?

Well, let me just share my experience with check withdrawal. I am not from US and had cashed out via check from Advercash before they started to accept Alertpay as a payment mode. When I cashed in my check bearing my name, of amount US$13.00. I received a call from the bank the next day and was informed that I will be charged $10 for Union Bank clearance fee, and $5 for middle clearance fee. So I need to pay $15 for my $13. Oh my god! Naturally, I stopped the check from banking in and I am now holding to it as a souvenir. :)
Well, I tried to ask Advercash to cancel my check, but my request was naturally rejected. Oh well, I just had to take it as a lesson learn. I think I will just stick to online payment which is a lot cheaper. Any experiences to share or views on this issue?

Well I am from the USA so haven't had a problem like that. i do however belong to a TON of sites who do accept international members and also offer alert pay as a payment option. If you check out my profile you can see the list. Be sure to visit their forums for proof of payment as well as members reviews! hope that helps and I am SO SORRY that happened to you, They REALLY should have canceled the check and remitted payment via the method you would like!

Thank you for your kind response. Well, I guess the onus is on me to find out first before cashing out. This, I hope is an advise to all, if not most international members and for them to take extra note. Cheers.
