Do you prefer ICED drink or HOT drink?

When you need a drink, do you prefer it hot or cold? Some people only take hot drinks at all times. Some people only take cold drinks. Some have preference depending on time of day. For me, I used to drink only cold drinks. The more icy cold the better. Nowadays, I do away with ice as it is not good for health. Occasionally, I do chew ice to perk me up though. Friends, what about you? When you need a drink, do you prefer it hot, cold or chilled? Thanks for sharing :)

I drink my hot coffee and hot tea all year long, even on the hottest days. But nothings better than a ice cold sweet tea on a hot summer day.

Wouldn't iced tea makes your day for the hottest day?

I have hot coffee every weekday even during summer months. But on hot days I also like having cold lemonades or pops (er..sodas for you non-midwesterners). When I'm feeling sick, or just in the mood for a hot drink other than coffee I drink tea. I keep hot chocolate readily available for my kids during the winter months.

I prefer my coffee hot. I can drink that all day long. As for the other drinks including water, I like for them to be room temperature. I have no idea why. They just seem better to me this way. That includes my Diet Pepsi.

I would have to say I prefer my hot. I drink a lot of coffee and hot tea. Especially during the winter, but I find myself wanting them all year long these past few years. I just love a good cup of hot herbal green tea.

I think I like to drink nice ice cold drinks. Especially like a nice cold cup of water. This is actually the most refreshing thirst quencher. It seems like water really helps with your thirstyness. I like to drink that a lot of times before a soda. But I really do not drink hot drinks like that. But bottled water drinking it room temperature is really not that bad.

I drink both depending on what I am feeling, if it is cold and I just come in from the cold, I want something hot, if it is hot outside I may go for a cold drink or I might still prefer a hot one,

Most of the time I prefer a hot drink preferably coffee. If I am exercising or out walking then I prefer a chilled ice cold bottle of water.

For me, it will depend on the ambiance and all lol. When I am at home, I normally take cold water throughout the day and switch to hot tea at night. During breakfast, the drink will definitely need to be cold though - except for yogurt of course. When I am outside, I normally grab a hot coffee or any cold soft drink if it is some set lunch/dinner kinda thing.

Cold vodka - I have got some scientific theory to prove it.
The science behind it is that in order to cool down to normal body temp it is best to drink water which will bring your temperature as close to 98.6 degrees F as possible without dropping it down more than that....the reason being is that drinking water which will cool your body to optimum regular temperature exerts no energy on the body. on the other hand drinking ice cold water drops the inside of your body's temp below 98.6 degrees and your body has to exert energy in order to warm the liquid in your body back up to regular body temp. as far as water is concerned on the molecular level, the H2O molecules move faster in warm water than in cold water...meaning they will be absorbed into your body faster with warm water, than cold water, because the the atoms of the molecules are moving faster. However....it depends on what you're drinking the water for... simply drinking cold water alone can help you loose weight because your body has to exert stored energy to warm it like i mentioned before.....if you were to drink about 40 glasses of ice warer a day...every day for a year....with no exercise, the energy your body would have to use to heat the water up to your normal body temperature would cause a weight loss of about 3 pounds.
It is better to drink a warm/hot drink rather than an ice cold one on a hot day. As it's summer right now here in the country. I have got some scientific theory to prove it. I usually drink my water at room temperature. But when it comes to things such as iced or hot tea and such, it depends on the weather. If it is a scorching hot day then I lean more towards an iced drink to quench my thirst (or a room temp drink). when it is cold or raining outside I tend to crave something hot like tea or hot chocolate or hot cider.

Almost every day I prefer to drink cold drinks like fruit juice or water. In the summer I like to add ice to my drinks. I always have a fruit juice with a meal that I am eating. I often drink water during the day when I am at home or at work. When I go into a building it delights me when it has a cool water dispenser and plastic cups available to drink out of. It there is a room temperature option or the choice of a chilled water I will always chose the coldest one. I rarely like to have hot drinks. I have a hot chocolate very seldomly because it has much sugar in it. I don't like tea and I am allergic to Coffee. If I have a sore throat I heat a cup of cranberry juice in my microwave.

It totally depends on the weather. If it's cold then I prefer hot drinks but if it's summer hot definitely cold, chilled, iced, whatever as long as it's not hot and warm. Cheers!

I think the colder the better! Nothing's more refreshing than an iced coffee or a smoothie during a hot summer!!
