are both adults if you were to say stomp this person's butt you would go to jail?
I was thinking about this one night and I will never understand how someone can hurt a defenseless child and NEVER serve a minute of jail time and yet when you are old enough to defend yourself you will go to jail if you were to hit this person?
I think that if someone abused you as a child that when you are a legal adult that you should at least have the chance to punch them really good at least four or five times. Well give me some opinions!!!!!!
If you were abused would you like to have a good spout with the person that did this to you? I would really love to get four or five good licks in but then again I suppose taht would make me as low as them.

People get away with some sick things. There's all sorts of cases of there BEING evidence that the person was abused as a child, but then it gets lost at the police station or in the court system, and it turns into a big mess and the case turns into a he-said-she-said. And because of things like that people get away with all sorts of bad things. It sucks, but it's true. And as much as we'd like to punch some people, we just can't. :(

I have all the paperwork myself. Because itcould have gotten lost. I just don't understand when it is proved how come they only lose custody or don't get any jail time.

One time I would loved to have punched my dad to Kingdom come for molesting me as an eight year old child but when i became older I realized that the hate I felt was only making me ill andnot touching him. so I forgave him and never forgot it at all. he was wrong very wrong but what can a little kid do against a grown man who was also thehighly respected town doctor"?I am glad I could forgive as he passed away a long time ago and never knew that Ihad andthats okay what goes around comes around he asked for me and I did not go.I had had it.

Yes, I think you answered your own question there. I don't think I'd sink to their level. A difficult thing to do, to avoid hurting them back, but the best way to do it is to seek compensation, or a jail sentence for them.
