We also use the Bible but we focus more on the Old Testament. There is nothing much difference in Roman Catholic. We don't eat pork. We don't use cross. We don't have gods like pictures and human made things. We don't have a priest but a pastor. A pastor can get married. We go to church every Saturday. We are not allowed to do household on Saturday because this is the Sabbath Day. We follow the days in calendar as Saturday is the Seventh Day. We pray directly to God and we only confess our sins to Him.

The Adventist Movement began in the United States of America in 1844 with the prophicies of Ellen G. White. It was incorporated in Michigan in 1860 as The Seventh Day Adventist Church. They are basically evangelican christian in most of their doctrine and beliefs, with the exception that they hold to Saturday as being the original Sabbath Day and continue to adhere to the Laws of Sabbath. They looked for the imminent return of Jesus Christ and the ushering in of the Millenial reign of Christ as sovereign King. To date they have set several times for the second coming, beginning in 1844. They appearantly have now stopped giving out dates, as so far, every one that they have set has come and gone without his coming. The most devout Adventists are vegatarians. The Church owned business, Morning Star Farms, and others produce meat free products for their members and for the general public. Each Church also has it's own food bank (store) where members and the public can purchase meat free foods. For more information about this sect you may look up their website at http://www.adventist.org Hope that this has been of some help to you in answering your questions.
