Will you participate in earth hour on march 29?

earth hour - just one hour- to support earth hour.

Earth hour is an event to raise public awareness on climate change at 8 pm on march 29th. all,of us are asked to turn off lights for an hour. last year over 200 millions are participated including 2000 businesses and it results 105 energy reduction in use. it realy spread public awareness. iam going to turn off lights for an hour. Would you going to turn off lights for an hour and participate in earth hour?

Oops, just realized that this was tonight..well, i didn't have my lights closed, and even though, im not sure i would've closed them all, cuz with my 2 months old baby and all...

I haven't heard of this..but if it helps then I will turn my lights off for an hour..thanks for the info..

Thank you for your information,I 've never heard of earth hour before.I think it's good,but I don't see the point ,why should we are asked to turn off the lights to raise public awareness.Just turn the lights off?Or we are asked not to use any electrical things? I am look forward to your answer.

Yes, it is very important to reduce energy usage and turning off the lights in unison will help! There have been mandatory blackouts over the last few years, so we really do need to do something to show our support!
