I know that they say MyLot pays us through PayPal but for PayPal it seems that a person needs to have a checking account. I don't have one and am now wondering how I will be able to get my money from Mylot. Does anybody have any ideas?

Do you have a credit card? You can set up PayPal with a credit card (unless that's what you meant by "I don't have a chequing account"). Otherwise, I'm pretty sure you can request MyLot to send you a cheque in the mail, but if I'm correct, the payout is set to $25 for a cheque, rather than $10 through PayPal. Hope that helps!

Really? This is the first time I heard that. I thought you can even leave your paypal account unverified. It just means you can transfer less money. The best is for you to email them. Their customer service, though sometimes generic, is quite prompt. Keep asking till you get a satisfactory answer.

Dear my friend, you should make sure which payment processor which available in your country whether paypal or moneybookers. if paypal is available in your country then just put your paypal address in your personal information in mylot when you have reached minimum payment in here, your balance would automatically transfered by mylot into your paypal account. as long as i know, it doesn't matter you have your account in paypal getting verified or still unverified. you still able to receive any payment in your unverified paypal and still able to withdraw your paypal account but something that you should remember, unverified paypal account would have limited amount to withdrawal although no limited amount to receive any payment. if i don't mistake its about $100. so if you withdrawal about $50 from your paypal account, the limit would still have $50 to available for withdrawal. after the limit getting spent out, then you would not able to withdrawal anymore until you verify your paypal account. i hope its helped you out. you can verify your paypal account by using Virtual Credit Card or Credit Card or Visa Debit Card

If you have a credit card, you can set it up like a bank account, and if you have a prepaid credit card, you can also set it up that way. You can get a prepaid card from greendotonline.com Good Luck

you will have to open one up, or you may have to contact paypal and see if they have any other options but I do not think so.

I don't think you necessarily have to have a checking account. Paypal will also deposit the payments into a savings account. At least they used too. I haven't checked lately. After your account at Paypal is established, Paypal will also mail you a check but it takes awhile and there is a charge which used to be $1.50 per check but I'm not certain if that is still correct.

No, you only need a checking account to make your account "verfied". The good thing about having the account verified is that you can withdraw more money out that way, and some ebay sellers won't do business with unverified accounts However, you can still sign up even if it's not verified. You may consider opening up a checking account. It would make it so much easier. Unless you have a judgement or something and that's why you don't want to open the account.... Pablo

Hi, dfinster! You can go on the Paypal site and get a free Paypal debit card. I've had one for years. Then you can just go to an ATM and take the money out. But there may be a fee for that, so instead you can just go buy something small, like a pack of gum, and then use the debit card and get cash back.

I think that sounds fine. Are there any cases of misuse of debit card etc., ? How secure it is.

In the beginning it was said that they can pay us without checking also with some additional fee. If we give some bank account, perhaps they would credit earnings to that account. But don't know if it would be misused..

you can try to upgrade your account to premier and get a visa debit card with them, but I think you still need to have a checking account. I also think mylot can give you a check but that I am not sure since i am new. i would check with mylot and see if there is another way. Also you can open an account with paypal and transfer it to someone you know that has one and then they can give you the $$ for it. But it would be much easier to either keep it in there and but things online that you need or just simply get a checking account! Oh on paypal you can request to be paid with a paper check, they add a charge, but I don't think you need a bank account! hope this helps you out!

1 more thing, if you use the paypal card as credit they will give you a certain % cash back to you. say you buy a $5.00 item they will give you back like .05. it doesn't sound like much but it is a good deal if you buy and sell and use the card alot like I do!
