Did you ever eat pet food when you were a kid?

When I was little I used to sneak this Dog jerky we had for our dogs. To me it tasted like beef jerky. Now this is embarrassing but when I was a teenager I thought, I wonder if it really tastes like beef jerky so I tried it again and it didn't. Lol, it was disgusting! So anybody out there eat pet food when you were a kid. Or now even?

Myself, no. However when we were given a whole bunch of homemade doggie cookies the kids were intrigued. (they were cute christmas shapes and colors - some with icing)
I read the ingredients and it was all natural stuff with honey being the main flavoring (the icing was yogurt) so I let them each try one. They thought they tasted pretty good, but the rest were left for the dog.

eww no way i never ate dog food and would only eat it if there was no other food left.

LOL yes i did, the same thing the little jerky ones and i thought they tasted somewhat like jerky good enough for me to eat a piece or two. LOL, I dont think i tried it agian after that, but i know that i wouldnt like it now. funny

Yes, in fact i did eat dog food. LOL I use to crawl out on the back porch and eat their purina. My grandparents said they had a heck of a time trying to keep me out of it. My step dad ate dog treats one day.

When i was a young child i apparently ate some dried dog food! eughh disgusting
but my son constantly goes and tries to eat the cats biscuits - he is only 22 months I think its absolutly rank lol
