Negative thoughts are thought of as negative because they destroy our state of happiness and tend to lead to depression, hatred, jealousy and anger. The result is usually, the feelings of fear and a sense of insecurity. What is at the base of your thinking? Are they negative or positive? Did you have any experience? What were the consequences of those thoughts?

yes, i believe in it...negative thoughts will produce negative effects as the law of karma states...what you sow you shall also reap.. there is also a saying by the teaching of budha "supposedly if a stranger will give you a gift and you didn't accept it to whom the gift goes?" example if a person is harboring hatred and anger(gift) against you if you dont accept it bounced back to him many times... i have experience it and can say it is very true...so next time if you want to harbor hatred or malicious thinking against other person. think twice...you are giving yourself a bad gift. smile always ^_^

I think positively and negatively. I agree with you, negative thoughts lead to depression, jealousy and it will destroy your happiness. It will only cause worries which can't help to solve any problem at all. So when there is something that goes negatively I'm trying my best to take the positive view coz if I don't I know I will become a loser, and who wants to be a loser. I don't wanna be in a lose lose situation so I'm thinking that everything happens for a reason and that there are things that I don't have control over so I just have to let it happen.

Alot of people say that if you always think negatively, negative reactions will occur and some say if you think positively, good things will happen for you. I am not really sure about that though. I think negatively and positively all at the same time. I think positive because I want my life to be better and I try very hard to make it happen. I also think negative too though because even though I think positive half of the time, bad things still happen and it makes me wander why I even try to think positively!
