i've always been interested in learning new languages and right now i really want to learn Japanese. Its really tough though because im learning it on my own but i was kinda wonedring if its practical to learn Japanese now that im in the US than to learn Spanish. I know there's a lot of spanish speaking people here esp. in California so im thinking of shifting courses... hehe! anyway, spanish so much easier than Japanese.

Well I speak english and Spanish because I was born in the dominican republic. But I learned french in high school and still remember a few things. Recently I just learned Italian and am still learning a few things on my own. I realy want to take Japanese and learn the beautiful language. I also want to learn how to speak Korean.

perhaps because i live in canada, i know a smatering of 'canadian' french (canada is officially bilingual) but i would like to learn more. i would like to learn spanish as well as we get many calls here at work from spanish speaking people. i tried to learn mandarin, but had no one to practice on and perhaps one day i would like to learn yiddish - its such a facinating language...
