Do personal views prevent you from watching some movies?

Does anyone refuse to see a movie because you don't agree with the actor's views? Or if the actor has done something illegal/wrong? Like Tom Cruise being a Scientologist, Roman Polanski being charged with rape, Woody Allen marrying his step-daughter, etc. Will you refuse to see their movies on moral grounds?

I have to say I have never thought too much about an actors beliefs or action when thinking about hoing to watch their films Take Tom Cruise for instance don't belive in Scientology, but wouldn't affect my going to see his films. Although I wont see his new film Valkyrie as I don't think it will do the story justice I normally judge a film on the content not because of the people in or behind the movie - hope that mkaes sense

Yes, sometimes. They make life easier for a cine goer as somebody already made a decision. Some times we may miss a very good movie also as it might later turn out to be a hit.
