i do wear hose when we area required in the office to wear one. but for day to day use i feel uncomfortable. It is hot to be wearing one.

I do for dressy occasions...I think bare legs look unpolished. Might be related to the generation when I grew up. However, I have never seen bare legs in a dressy situation that didn't appear tacky. It's like wearing sneakers with a cocktail dress...ruins the entire effect, IMHO.
