this man in India, from, Durga Prasad, an itinerant worker, was from,Uttar Pradesh, and he took on a Job , for 250 rupees a day, it could be risky but he needed money for his family, and himself. so he went thinking that nit might be illegal work , like running drugs, or something cause they dont , pay that much for legal, work. the salary was part of a TRAP, that he and 14 otherpoor laborers fell into that, they were held captive while their BLOOD was stolen for SALE to private medical clinics. WOW . what do you think of that??? good or bad???? i hope somebody agrees with me that it is reprehensible!!! that seems to be what the high medical costs in this country is doing to people in this country they have to go to INDIA to get operations, ...

What a horrible story. I'm sure it's not an isolated incident either. I wonder if the recipients of the blood would reconsider patronising the private clinics if they had an idea how the blood was collected?

I agree, it is terrible! I guess that is how so many people get enslaved these days! I have heard that there are many slaves still in this world, and wondered how it happened other than kidnapping! I know the blood banks here will pay for plasma, and I try to donate my blood for free every so often! I hope the man got out alive! It reminds me of organ harvesting, and seems to me that the rich and wealthy are still considered more important than than poor in this world! And to think that in India you can live well for only one hundred U.S. dollars! So many Americans do not realize how good of a life that we have here!
