If you don't have a bank account, do you have a prepaid credit card?

I like the green dot card cuz you cant go over, once you are out of money on it , you are out, no over the limit fees:) and its attached to a bank account:) you can have you monthly checks deposited to it:) and pay your bills online:) i love mine have had it about a year and do all my purchasing and bills online, i have alot more extra..lol cuz we can see how we are spending and where, online daily:0 hugs- DN

I actually have several prepaid credit cards and they do come in handy for ordering online. I get paid from my employer on a prepaid credit card. Many employers are opting for this now so that they don't have to dispense paper checks. The only problem is that you are charged everytime you use these cards. There is not only the ATM fee, but a bank fee also. It often costs me $3.50 just to access my own money, so when I get paid, I take the full amount off the card so that I am not charged continual fees.

I keep hearing about these prepaid credit cards, but I do not have one. We just have a bank account and that is about enough for me! I know where I am if I just have a bank account and know that I cannot get myself into any trouble! With a prepaid credit card do you have to have money on it first before you can spend anything?

I have a bankaccount and a creditcard, but i hardly use the creditcard. Most of my bills i pay by online banking. I attached my paypal to my bankaccountnumber. When i pay something with paypal and there's not enough money in paypal account, paypal then automatically deducts it from my bankaccount.

In the UK I think it is easier to get a bank account, well it certainly was when I was younger and the big credit card companies are practically forcing new cards down your throat. They want your money (or your debt if you get my drift), so for us it is easy to get a bank account and credit cards. Although I also have paypal too.

honestly i never expected that there is kind of prepaid credit card. how could you pay it? i mean here, is it related with your local bank or what? what i know, credit card related with a bank which issued it and we should pay the bill to those bank. and you said that you got it from online? would you tell me where i can get it too cause i become curious to know more about this prepaid credit card. much appreciate of your helping dear friend

I been wanting to get one just to verifiy my paypal account.. But I admit I am scared... the only bank account I have is a joint on with my parents... And I am trying to earn money to get on my own or move out... However, my mother had her way I would never be able to move out or have a job, is why I ended up joining mylot, and other internet earning programs... ... As well as hoping to make enough money to earn to save my home.. but at the rate of 3-5$ a month I am not doing to well... I just gotta be more active on mylot to fix that... My best friend has been looking for a possible cheap prepaid virtual or just a credit card to purchase for me to verify my account... But we still both are not sure what to do.... Anyhow... I have never had a prepaid credit card before. I have always had a bank account. I would get a prepaid card too if I needed one to use. I think it is great for those who do not have a bank account to use. It comes in really handy also.

Hi Icy I have a bank account and debit card and never had one prepaid.I pay all my bills this way and at the end of the year the points i made for the total of sales for the year add up. I use those points and get my family things for presents.Fun and easy and its like a bonus!
