Murderer Nabbed by cops who read his blog.

This has to be so stupid. How many criminals write blogs and then give the poliec the information of when and where to nab them. Kazuyoshi Miura was wanted for the 1981 murder of his wife and he fled to Japan where the police where having trouble extraditing him but hey he was an avid blogger and so he blogged about a trip that he was taking to Saipan which is a U.S. Territory and guess what the police nabbed him as soon as he touched down. How stupid can you be to visit somewhere that they one can extradite you from and two to blog that your going there? So what do you guys think .. Stupidity on his part? here is the link I got this from. http://johnnorrisbrown.com/blog/?p=2754

I not only laughed at the stupidity of that criminal, I am amazed, and have to appreciate the patience and efficiency of the LAPD. It might be that, that criminal either thought that Law enforcement agencies might have forgotten or that his blog could/would not be read. I would assume that he would have tried to keep himself anonymous in which case LAPD must have been smart and very active in keeping track of his activities. If he didn't keep it anonymous and announced going to a US territory, then I must say that he is one of the stupidest criminals I have ever heard of! Anyway, all is well that ends well, especially for law, even after so many years!:-)

I know i thought dang they were too patient. I think it just goes to show that some cops are dedicated to their job and will make sure that they get the offender no matter how long it takes. LOL!!!

Yes, bella, some cops are dedicated and some do it even for 'fun', trust me! I know many such cops, who would wait for their chance to strike, they feel like they have won the game and they make jokes afterwards! Hehe!

Sometimes I wish we had those dedicated cops move to areas where there are less dedicated cops.

I think he was too complacent and sure of himself to have successfully evaded extradition all these years. Maybe he thought that the police after all had better things to do than be on the lookout for him after all these years and also he probably had no knowledge of Saipan being US territory. But whatever, it was downright stupid on his part and also proves the saying that old sins have long shadows.

Yes Bella, its a very favourite saying of mine, one of my life's fundamental principles. It means that if you have actually hurt a person's soul and that person has done nothing to deserve that treatment from you, then that person's bad wishes come to you and either you or one of your descendents will somehow, some day have to repay it. Exactly do try and show off and if your evading extradition be sure where your going isn't somewhere where you can be extradited from ...

This qualifies for the show America's dumbest criminals. He definitly got a bit cocky if he was blogging about where he is going to. All I can say is he screwed himself over on this one.

Just goes to show that a lot of crooks really are not too bright and I supppose if they were well they would not be crooks .they would be doing something more constructive like working for a living. He surely did himself in by posting that blog . almost like saying here I am come and get me!~
