If you don't mind my asking, where did you find the recipe for the sauce?

I try to cook with a variety of foods. Whenever I come across a food (usually a vegetable) which I don't normally cook with, I look up recipes to try. I recently found a great recipe for roasted butternut squash soup. Which I then accompanied with homemade irish soda bread. I often find the supermarkets' own sites useful because they give details of the other ingredients needed, how much they are etc.

I look around the net a lot looking for new recipes to make, as I am a cook in a rentirement home, and I get tired of making the same old things day after day. And it's also great when I come across a recipe for myself to make at home.

I love cooking, sometimes it turns out good, other times it doesn't. If I am trying something for the first time I make sure I look up the procedures and how to make it taste good. I cooked fresh green beans for the first time the other night, and I watched a video on the internet on how to blanch them. I like the food network for recipies and videos, I looked up how to prepare beef brisket a few weeks ago and the ideas were plentiful. I sometimes look up a recipe online to get an idea and change a few ingredients based on availibilty and whether I like them a lot.
