Will System of A Down Reform?

What do you guys all think about this? I remember reading an article about 2 weeks ago about a possible reunion gig this year at the Coachella music and arts festival. It said how Serj Tankian is on the line up and "Scars On Broadway", which is SOAD guitarist Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan's band. What do you guys/gals think? Will they pull a Rage Against The Machine? (Remember, they had their reunion gig at Coachella last year!)

Naa I don't think so, they were not that big to begin with, only out for a very short time. Not the sort of band that reunite.

Yes, they weren't as big as say a pop star was, but they were still big and have many fans spanning the globe. They were around for about 8-10 years which is a considerable amount of time compared to most pop stars and these one hit wonders. Also, their music always had a point unlike most pop stars/rappers who go on about money money money ect. Their music was political, and socially awake and mind opening. Thanks for the comment!

Well, the band isn't technically on hiatus, as far as I remember, but they are taking a long break. I remember Serj saying something about that they'll probably make another album sometime in future, but that we'd have to wait a long time.

Well the reunion at Coachella didn't go through but I'm pretty sure they might reform sometime in the future, but at least two years from now. This really all depends on how successful "Scars On Broadway" does I believe because I'm not sure I would trust Daron to come back if he has a successful band that he's seen as more of a frontman figure. I doubt that they hate each other but a reunion doesn't seem like its happening for at least another two years. Daron has even said expect another Scars album before another System one.
