How is the cost of gas affecting your plans?

Gas went up again this weekend, to a record high of $3.33 nationwide. Some analysts think it may go to $4 by the summer. With the job market tight and diesel fuel driving up the price of food, how is all this affecting your plans now and for the summer? Are you going on vacation? If so, are you staying closer to home? Are you gardening or visiting more farmers' markets? What other ways is this affecting you?

Gas in Los Angeles (where I live is now over 3.75 a gallon. It will hit 4 dollars before summer for me. Instead of our usual summer road trips, we will be sticking close to home. It is too ridiculous. Even if you don't travel, the price of food alone is enough to bankrupt some. It is so bad.

My, I wish our fuel was that cheap. In the UK it's about £1.05 per litre. That's about $7.98 per US liquid gallon

they are affecting everyone in a huge way i think becuase honestly...i mean the way that they are so high it isn't even real...for instance it is really hard to find a good job that is worth it after you have to pay gas for something...and just forget the vacations becuase honestly who can afford a vacation with the gas prices because you have to not only pay the gas and all of that stuff but you also have to pay for the trip... jhl930
