Have you ever heard of this theory before. I had heard speculation here and there. But never gave it much thought until my family was dicussing it at a pinic yesterday. They said that they believed the theory. So today, I looked it up in my search engine and the first thing that came up was Wikipedia. I started reading the article and sure enough, there are scientist who believe that this is how AIDS came about. What is your position on this? Tell me why you think it is or is not true. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AIDS_origin_theories

I have also heard different theories about AIDS. Some say that AIDS came about to rid the population of gays. Some say that AIDS came from apes in Africa. Who really knows, it might have came from Apes. Some weird people like to do things with animals. You don't hear that much about AIDS anymore. Thats a shame too, young people don't think about it, they are so much at risk of getting it too. I would hope that AIDS wasn't man made, but if it was it wouldn't surprise me that much.

Judging from the article on Wikipedia, it was not intentional, but an accident. I am not sure, but it was certainly interesting conversation.

I've heard about aids being man made. What I heard that there was a top secret u.s. goverment project called something. I can't remember what it was called. They said the disease was made to be 100% invinceable from any cures. This is such an out there theory with not enough facts that I don't believe it. Some monkeys have the aids virus but their immune from getting sick from it unlike humans.

I don't believe in conspiracy theories. To me the main stream theory that the virus found in apes and monkeys mutated and infected humans who ate bush meat (monkeys and apes) that was not cooked properly.

I do not believe that they are saying that it was a conspiracy, but an accident.
