I feel like almost all of the song/scene combinations were amazing, but I know there has to be at least one that stuck out to anyone who has seen the movie. My initial absolute favorite was "I Am the Walrus" with Bono, outstanding, I also loved the Revolution one. What was your favorite combination of song with scene from Across the Universe?

across the universe was a great film. i mean all beatles songs in one movie.. love it! and not just the songs but the content of the movie. it really had a deep story dont you think? the bono song was nice, but i felt dizzy watching it on film. lol. and revolution was great the melody and the actions came together. just amazing. but its hard to pick from all the songs that was written. but the ones that made an impact on me was 'let it be' and the scenes that it played. the boy who sang the song wasnt exactly 'recording artist' voice in the film but it was because of that voice that made it so tender, it goes to show that you dont have to have a super amazing voice to touch someones heart. and the church lady who sang it after the boy made it even more powerful, their combo made it so touching and so sad at the same time it reduced me to tears!! it just broke my heart. the next song would be 'come together' the combination of the instruments and the husky-ish voice of the singer was brilliant, i just cant put my fingers on it. and lastly 'being for the benefit of mr. kite' even though eddie was sort of just reciting the lyrics it was brilliant! i heard the beatles version and i was a little bit creeped out of it. lol.. wasnt used to it probably but eddie's version was fun, lively, circus-y.. but it was an amazing film

I really enjoyed the song in the bowling ally and I love his accent, but strawberry fields may have been the most stunning as song/scene combo.

i absolutely love this movie! i think it is a great movie, but if you truely understand all the hidden meanings in the movie, like the final performance with sadie ("sexy sadie") and jojo ("get back") on top of her record label "strawberry" ((a mock of the beetles label "apple corp")) that was just like the last beetles performance they ever did. and they performed the same exact song. or allt he hidden "9"'s of the mvie representing "revolution 9" the list goes on. this truely makes you appreciate the movie. one of my favorite beetle's songs ever is black bird. i have to say that evan rachel wood did an amazing job of portraying the song.

I Am the Walrus with Bono was a really nice acid trip...Let It Be and Strawberry Fields Forever were really emotional...Revolution was really cool I loved it that Jude punched Paco...and All You Need Is Love was appropriate...She loves you yeah yeah yeah...

Revolution was a great scene. I really liked all of Jim Sturgess' scenes. He's beautiful. For the Benefit of Mr. Kite was a little spooky and kind of out of place with the rest of the movie. When I was with my last ex, Something was our song so I have a special place in my heart for it and I thought the scene with Jude drawing Lucy sleeping and singing to her was really sweet.
