IE Vs Firefox ~ Advantages and disadvantages

Many use IE for browsing.Some use fire fox for browsing.
Lately,I saw 2 advantages of fire fox over IE.
They are{I dont know whether they are true or not}
# "Mylot works faster in firefox than IE".Is it so?
# "Viruses are based mainly on IE as its the default browser and so use fire fox to be more safe." Is it true?
And also post all the advantages and disadvantages of both IE and firefox.

i think that i am defiently going to have to go with the firefox because to me it is a lot easier for me to work and on mylot and other places it gives me automatic spell check and i really like that because i do spell things wrong whenever i am typing really fast and that really helps me a lot...and it is a lot faster to me than internet explorer on just about everything that i can think of...so this is my choice

you ain't a kidding that it is alot easier to work with.i forgot to mention that in my post....i love the tabs thingie that they have on there.it
is so handy to have on your toolbar,and that you can start a new tab on whatever you want right there at your fingertips.I love their themes
also.I've got the dark blue theme that they have.and i like their original theme as well too though..It's awesome.I'll never use another
browser other than FF.

I use IE. I tried firefox a few months ago. It is good in browsing and speed. It also has some good downloading features. Firefox is also best for betfair users but firefox has a big problem. It download Reedme virus automatically. Therefore i stop using it now.

I've got to admit,that you are right about FF being better than IE.
I've had FF for over two years or less,and i love FF even better.
I do also agree that FF is faster with mylot than IE.I've tried mylot
on IE,and than tried mylot on FF on the same day to show a friend
how good FF was.They seen the difference than.I've got about almost
all of my friends and family using FF.Hopefully,i can get the whole
world using FF.LOL I love it,and if they had a shirt or hat to buy,
i'd definately buy it,and wear it out in town.Show ppl that im a FF user!

I am happy that you like this discussion.So,heres one Firefox Fan {FFF} lol......I am also thinking of shifting to Firefox.But,it isnt that easy shifting.right?.......
So,Firefox works better than Internet explorer in mylot.
Thats definitely a solid point to firefox against internet explorer.

I like firefox a lot because it doesnot have those allow and disallow messages and phishing filters which are useless. but The advantage of Ie is its huge space for the webpage and its visuals. I hope that fire fox arok on those 2 areas.
