What is your favourite Season??

My favourite season is Spring My new year always starts in spring, when all the nature springs back in to life, the weather starts to get warmer. The flowers start to be wonderful again especially daffodils are so bright after such a long winter. I always think that people trying to start new years resolutions in january are always going to struggle. It's the worse month of the year. I prefer to use Easter as my start to give up or start new ventures as i'm more likely to keep to it. Please give me your views on what is your favourite season and why??

i like Fall the best.it reminds me of peace and happiness when the season comes alive.i also like it b/c of the beautiful colorful leaves that lay on the ground, and than the fresh smell of Falll in the air. it is a great time to be outdoors at this time,b/c the earth is more beautiful in this time of the year.especially Halloween on the way. I love Halloween and i guess that's why fall is my favorite season of the years.

i love Autumn for the colours. It also reminds me that winter is not far off and all that cold weather and dark evenings again. Here in the UK we don't really celebrate Halloween like people in USA do, i wish we did. It's not safe here for kids to do trick or treating. Thanks for response

hi there, thanks for rating mine as best, although there aren't any others that responded to it. i too love the colors of the leaves in the Fall. It's sad that your country doesn't celebrate the Halloween holidays for the kids. all kids here enjoy it a lot. i guess that if your country did, the kids may do mean things on this holiday. thanks again and have a beautiful day today!!!

Spring is my favourite season. Although in the summer we can swim every day and enjoy the wonderful weather, it's sometimes just a bit too hot for me. I can't work for long in the hot sun so we have to get up ridiculously early to get everything done. THen we stop at around 11am, and can't get going again until it cools again in the evening. It makes life hard with kids around! So, that's why Spring is my favourite. I just love the slightly milder weather. I love the spring flowers and the noise of the insects and birds if you sit outside quietly. I love watching the seeds push up, I love getting our veg garden planted up. It's a season of fresh opportunity and new beginnings!

Your so lucky to have such nice weather, here in the UK every day is different and what makes it worse is the weather men rarely get the forecast right. We are lucky if we get more than one sunny day together, we get a lot of rain here. I love the spring due to all the nature waking up again. What veg are you growing this year??

We seem to go from one extreme to the other here at the moment. Early last week we were all hiding indoors as the rain was so heavy you couldn't get anything done and the mist was so low that you couldn't see the top of the garden, then it all changed and became so lovely on Friday that I caught the sun! Go figure huh?! I guess there's weird weather all over the world right now. My veg garden will ahve just about everything in once it's done. At the moment we have it all prepared and all the stakes and irrigation in, but we're behind with seeding stuff because the rain has been so heavy. All the permanent stuff is doing well (fruit bushes, asparagus, rhubarb), and the potatoes went in at Easter so they're coming up nicely inlcuding some test batches we're doing this year. The beans are looking a bit sad, but the tomatoes, peppers, chillies, aubergines, cucumbers, pumpkins & courgettes are OK and my Jerusalem artichokes are coming on really well which is fabulous as it's the first time I've grown them. i've got some new peas just coming up, and I've just come in from watering the salad and herbs as it looks like it's going to be another hot day today. I'm actually going to the market to buy seedlings later to see if i can catch up & get stuff in quickly. A bit of a cheat, but justified I think!
