The best inspirational movie that I have seen was Facing The Giants. It's about a football coach who used faith the inspire the players to win a title and defeat an undefeatable team.

My favorite insperational movie that is based on basketball is Glory Road. I loved it because it focused on real life people,who because of their race where required to work harder than their counterparts to achive success. What was so great about the story was how a college basketball team brought a whole state together, and for them it was no longer about color but the team.How they overcame and did in fact win the championship. Another good one is Coach Carter, which is also based on a real life person.

Ok, don't miss these movies.. I'll name few in no particular order. 1. Cinderella Man - boxing. Very very inspirational!! See this one. 2. Goal - soccer 3. Goal II Living the Dream - sequel of Goal but i think the first one is better. I haven't scene the third installment. 4. Facing the Giants - football I can't remember the rest but these that i mentioned here are few of my favorites.

Two that come to mind are "Rocky" and "Lorenzo's Oil". Also there is a documentary called "Hoop Dreams". It's "a film following the lives of two African American boys who struggle to become college basketball players on the road to going proffesional" (imdb.com). I haven't seen the film myself, but it's said to be excellent. Some people even call it the greatest documentary ever made.
