HIDDEN Mylot Feature ! ! Did you know ???

Yes I have known this for some time now. It is helpful to some members. But the star rating system needs an updats so it is more fair actually to all members. Thanks and have a great day/eveing here. Here's one you may not know. If you respond to a discussion you earn one point. But you can also earn one more point for adding a comment in that same discussion in someone elses response. A nice way to increase points each time you respond. Plus this also helps the poster earn a bit more for more resppnse and or comments as well. Try it. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

If you get your 92 up to a 95+ you'll get your 10star if I'm not mistaken...

Woah.. thats nice to know... I always had the impression that I have been rated 4 starts and I'm good enough. Well.. the truth revealed, its still 35/100.. Seems like I have to add more content to my responses and be more eloquent with answers. Well anyways, I'm just waiting for the exams to get over so that I can just mylot 24x7. Wow, I am new here and was puzzled about why some of mylot user have this star. Now i know what it mean and i think i will try to achieve having a 1 star on my avatar. I think that will be difficult for me. Haha. Anyway, i've got a long way to go but slowly and steady i will get the star!!! WHOA...so high to have a star. haha! Also, i ponder on, how they add the earnings to our a/c? How they put the cents and dollars inside. Is it the way we dicuss or is it the no. of posts we responded or comment on? Haha...Lots of questions in my mind now but slowy i think i will get the idea of this system! CHEERS for answer one of my millions questions of mylot!

thanks for explaining... i had thought it was post related, cause a forum i used to hang out in gave you a silver star for every 100 posts, then they'd be replaced by gold stars. so if you had 3 gold stars it meant that you done at least 3000 posts. kinda like grey hair on older people, it commands a little respect and makes you think twice about calling out someone that might be known to almost everyone else on that forum. so mylot put a cool twist in there, now we can see how many posts and a users reputation all at once. awesomely cool concept.

Yes, I have seen that feature before. It's good that you have written it hear for I have not seen mine for quite a long time and maybe there are others who are not aware of it will be able to see their rating. God bless.

I thought that 100 was the top and a blue star ten. I have been at blue star ten twice and back down to red 9 again. I did have 100/;100 now 93/100 as someone had an itchy negative trigger finger and used it wrongly as I did nothing to warrant that at all. I know that several someones are too wild in hitting the minus button. just disagreeing with someones response does not warrant that according to Mylot rules.only if someone flames you and calls you nasty names then you could minus them.

Thanks for sharing this with everyone in a discussion! I did know about it but I have also had to explain it to other newbies individually. Hopefully this will inform enough of them all at once so that it will be awhile before any of them are confused again.
