I tried today and mine doesn't anymore. Naturally, I didn't buy half the stuff I wanted because I wanted to use my coupons. I have written to corporate to find out exactly what is going on. Does anyone know?

Oh, I hate this. My local grocery stores won't take them either. They claim that anyone could create a fake coupon. Really, someone is going to go to all that work to save 50 cents? Besides, would the bar code even work if it is faked? I wanted to start using internet coupons to save money. I don't use the ones that come in the Sunday paper because they are not for the things I use. But, online you can find coupons for so much. But, if no one is going to accept them, it is not worth my time to look for them and print them. I hope stores come to their senses and change their policy on this.

I agree with you. Right on the coupon it states do not use if there is no barcode underneat the expiration date. Ugh. I'm hoping to get something in writing to take back to that CVS. It should be the same policy in every store.

Well, I got a response from the and here it is: Dear Ms. Kim Holsapple: Thank you for contacting CVS/pharmacy. I am in receipt of your e-mail inquiring if CVS/pharmacy accepts internet coupons. Please accept my sincere apology however the only internet coupons that CVS/pharmacy will accept are those that are printed directly from our website, www.cvs.com. We also do not accept duplicates of those that are printed from the CVS/pharmacy website. Thank you again for taking the time to contact us and share your concerns. We appreciate and look forward to you continued patronage. So I will only be going to them if I have coupons from inserts, etc.

In other words, we don't want you saving money unless we are willing to go to the trouble of making up a coupon. I would shop elsewhere until they change their policy.

I have no idea, but I know Wal-Mart is the same way. I have to go to super walmart with self checkout to use them . There are ways of getting around that. lol Hope they answer you with a good answer. I don't get it why have internet coupons, if we can't use them!

I never thought of using the self check out. I will do that from now on. It's the cashiers who start freaking when they see the black and white coupon.

I'm not really sure. I do not get to shop at CVS very often and I have not seen any coupkns for them recently anyway. They should accept the coupons though. It should be good for all CVS stores.
